Whee~ ... so fun .. =)

spent the afternoon in jurong ater sports centre (which is more like a smaller version of a water theme park ... what can i say? .. it has 3 slides (7 story, 4/5 story and 2 story slides) ... so fun ... a giant wave pool which is activated for 15 mins every hour (huge waves, strong current + 'rain' ... i.e. they shoot water jets over the pool ...) and a 'lazy' river .. which is actually quite fast ... which circles the wave pool ... so cool ... so shoik ... spent the afternoon there ... and the best part was that the weather was with us .. the rain stopped and the sun came out when we started on the slides ... whee~ ...

but i still wanna learn how to swim first ... (at least my frog style kicking works ... hahaha .. and the breast-stroke also works .. but somehow i can't co-ordinate and not sink ... and not take in water through my nose ... =( )

ok ... what else happened? ... hmm .. yeah, i got a new PSP game .. or rather i traded off one of my old games for i ... traded Fifa '06 for SOCOM: FTB , it's like rainbow 6, or CS ... or .... swat 3?.. that kinda game ... so fun .. .and the graphics rox! ..

ok .. so far i've got .. Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade, SOCOM: FTB and Gundam Battle Tactics ... wahahah ... ,... will probably get another game next month ... maybe field commander (cos 2 peepz can play on the same PSP ... )

ok .. enough on the PSP ...

Tricia (my co-cell leader) had a brilliant idea ... hahha .. draw names and those people will be our 'mortals' .. in some sense ... i.e. we be nice to them .. for these 2 weeks ...

pity SCDF wouldn't allow me to bring a cam around and snap pics of my daily life ... or blog much about life in scdf .. then again i wouldn't wanna get in trouble for posting anything defaming ... yeah ..

anyways today ... was rather interesting ... as most of my mondays and thursdays ... yeah =P

went on my usual monday/thursday dispatch run to all the firestations (well .. almost all ..., skipped tuas and jurong island cos the driver is relatively new .. and cos i went there last week already, and they produce very little stuff for me to collect ..)

well .. lemme start from the beginning again ..

the world cup finals was on TV this morning LIVE ... and well .. i slept through it ... and i'm kinda glad i did ... the only thing i really missed was zidane head-butting an italian player ...(and i'm sure i can get that footage somewhere ...) just read the soccer results .. .a few write ups ... watch a few clips .. and well .. that sums my world cup finals up .. =P at least i didn't end up really really tired the whole day .. like almost everyone else at work ..

then .. when i arrived at office ... and stepped into the lift .. well ... there was a Lt. Col.(a very high ranking person, in case you didn't know) .. so well ... just greet lor ... "mornin' sir" which is pretty normal for me .. cos i greet almost every major and up ... ... what suprised me ... was 2 privates in no. 4 uniform standing in the 9th floor lift lobby ... and hut they greeted the Lt. Col. ... lolz ... it was .. well ... a kinda awkward, unsure kinda salute + good morning sir ... lolz .. and they happened to be the new medics assigned to medical dept. ... lolz ... and CMO asked them to report at 7.30am ... hahaha ... poor guyz ..

anyways i didn't see much of them ... cos i went out on my usual dispatch run .. and well .. got back at like .. almost 4 ... so only another 2 hours of pushing papers ... before time to go home ...

whee~ ... the day was kinda good ... kinda short =P

oh yeah! ... my big bro is on the way home now .. i think .. yeah ... heh heh ... have a safe trip nat! =)

err ... also got a new PSP game ... Gundam Battle Tactics ... reminds me of MechWarrior ... whee~ .. except a little less customisation + melee weapons ...

err ... been snacking on MINT Crunchy M&Ms my 2nd bro brought back from Australia ...

and err ... my office space is looking more and more like a snack corner .. heh heh ... got jap. rice cracker + biscuits + gummy + sweets there ... ahh ... now all i need is a bag or 2 of mamee noodle snack .. heh heh .. or some pringles ... not sure .. =/ .. hmmm ...

anyways i think thats enough for now ..

Oh yeah! ... my cell is going ICE SKATING this sunday! ... whee~~ ... hope i can get my ice-legs fast enough on the ice ... and hope it's similar enough to roller blading .. =)

2 weeks back(i think ..) we had the Ultimate Hunt ... which was a youth activity .. basically a gigantic scavanger hunt ... (which saw someone wax a LARGE patch of leg hair off my leg ...) and saw us taking pix of our own group doing dumb things ...

anyways, the upside of someone yanking off a LARGE patch of leg hair off my leg ... was that my group won the first prize in the game =) =) =) ... yay ... won a voucher to snow city (which is convertable to one for escape theme park or other places ..=P) ...

hahah ... gonna be so fun =)

and my cell has already planned to go ice skating on the 16th of july =) .. yay

on the downside ... i got night orderly duty this tuesday night .. haiz ...

and on the spiritual side ... we just had our SPR (Strategic Planning Review) meeting this morn ... basically a meeting to review the progress on how our plans have progressed since ... yeah =) ...

btw, anyone got any music by ROMA WATERMAN? ... been looking for her music .. but can't seem to find =( ... if anyone has .. pls share!!! =)
